The San Francisco Visitor's Center in the San Francisco area is a high-tech, modern building managed by the San Francisco Travel Association. Accommodating roughly 400,000 tourists annually, the Visitor Center is manned by 15 staff and 15 volunteers, all of whom are versed in one or two of 14 languages, including Tagalog, Japanese, German, French, and Portuguese, to name a few. The facility has been around the Bay area since 1976 and has recorded 13.5 million visitors since its opening.
While in San Francisco, make sure to include the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in your itinerary. It was constructed in 1915 and was named in honor of Bill Gramham, the father of the rock 'n roll movement in the city around the 1960s. For art enthusiasts, you will also enjoy a trip to the Cartoon Art Museum, a museum dedicated to comics and cartoons. As of 2015, there are 7,000 art pieces exhibited in the facility, some of which are original comic book pages.
San Francisco is dotted with a handful of luxury hotels and lodging spaces, one of which is the four-star Hotel Zetta San Francisco. Breakfast is served in the hotel's in-house restaurant at a surcharge, although you can free to enjoy the business center and fitness center while you are in the vicinity, as well. Another four-star hotel in the area is the Parc 55 San Francisco - A Hilton Hotel. Being only a three-minute walk from the Westfield San Francisco Centre, it makes for a convenient home base. It also features two restaurants, a town car service, and an in-house gym.
