Located in Houston, Texas, the Toyota Center is an indoor arena named after Toyota, a prominent Japanese car manufacturer. Inaugurated in 2003, it is the home of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Houston Rockets. The first event ever held here is a Fleetwood Mac concert. For a basketball match, it can seat up to 18,104 people; for a concert, it can seat up to 19,300 people; and for a ice hockey match, it can seat up to 17,800 people. The floor level has 3 separate private club lounges. 

Those looking for fun things to do in the area may visit Downtown Aquarium. Inaugurated in 2003, it is both a public aquarium and restaurant. It is home to more than 200 marine life species. Programs offered include Marine Biologist for a Day, Sea Safari Camp, Zoologist for a Day, among others. It also has a number of banquet facilities. Tourists should also visit the ArtCar Museum. Inaugurated in 1998, it is a private, contemporary art museum usually called “Garage Mahal”. It focuses on art cars and fine arts, with the main objective of providing a space for artists rarely seen in the market. Another interesting site to visit in the area is Sam Houston Park.
