The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, located in Houston, Texas, has 2 main facilities. First, Sarofim Hall, which is a theater that can seat up to 2,650 people. The theater, which is home to Theatre Under the Stars, is acoustically suitable for touring Broadway shows. Then, there is Zilkha Hall, which is a jewel box hall that can seat up to 500 people. This hall showcases Uniquely Houston program’s ensembles. Inaugurated in 2002, it was named after former Texas Lt. Gov. William P. Hobby, Jr.
