Zhuhai Jinwan Airport – ZUH Zhuhai
Zhuhai Jinwan Airport with code ZUH is located in the city of Zhuhai, China. The airport is also called Zhuhai Sanzao Airport until 2013. The airport is serving the city of Zhuhai in the province of Guangdong. The airfield is just about 50 km from the city center of Sanzao Town. This is part of the Jinwan District. It is also 25 km from the Macau admin region. Currently, the airport is only serving domestics flights. There are currently no scheduled international flights. The airport is also hosting the largest airshow in China which is called China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition.
Best Time to Visit
The airport was constructed in 1992 and it was opened in 1995. The next year, the first aerospace exhibition was hosted. During 2006, the airport held a partnership with Hong Kong International Airport. Guangdong Province has announced a new expansion project at the airport. They are adding 2 floors of the terminal and a VIP lounge. Cotai is also another city that is nearby the airport.
