Yakutsk Airport (YKS) is an airport located in Yakutsk, Russia. This international airport consists of a runway that can serve up to 700 passengers in an hour. YKS was built in 1931 and was a stopover for the Alaska and Siberia route during World War II. The international terminal was added in 1996.
YKS-Yakutsk services regional airlines including Polar Airlines and Yakutia Airlines. Aside from YKS, there is another smaller airport in the city, the Magan Airport that is usually used by Boeing and has flights within Yakutia.
