Tsushima, Japan is one of the island cities located in the Nagasaki region. It is one of the tourist destinations located in the southernmost area of the mainland island of Japan. The town was established in March 2004 and is created to the merger of six different towns - Tsushima Island, Toyotama, Mine, Kamigata, Komatsushima and Mitsushima. The site features a 100 step stone staircase and features one of the most rate building designs in Japan. This temple is also home to the Momoyama Era style temple gates, a unique feature that is not available in many other Buddhist temples in Japan.
