St. Cloud Regional Airport – STC
St. Cloud Regional Airport is a public airfield located about four nautical miles from the eastern side of the central business district of St. Cloud, Minnesota. It is under the Sherburne County and owned by the city of St. Cloud, which it primarily serves. It uses the IATA airport code of STC and ICAO code of KSTC. In 2017, the airport hosted 36,000 aircraft operations and had 92 aircraft based on the airfield.
Best Time to Visit
The airfield accommodates both private and commercial operations, along with cargo, corporate, and military activities. However, most of its activities are for general aviation, which is provided by the two airlines serving the airport. One of the airlines, Allegiant Air, offers seasonal flights to Phoenix/Mesa in Arizona and Punta Gorda in Florida. Among the two, the trips to Phoenix/Mesa are the most frequently booked in 2018. On the other hand, Sun Country Airlines connects charter flights to Laughlin/Bullhead City in Arizona. The airport currently has two runways, one 7,000-feet long concrete path and one 3,000-feet long asphalt-paved airstrip. The top must-visit towns from STC include Lake Shore, Motley, and Baxter.
