The Newcastle upon Tyne Civic Centre, or simply called Newcastle Civic Centre, is a Graded II listed building located in the area of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. The center is used as the main administrative and ceremonial center for the Newcastle City Council. The Newcastle Civic Centre is 200 feet tall, which makes it the eighth tallest building in Newcastle. It is most notable for the sculpture called "River God Tyne" and "Swans in Flight" both created by David Wynne. The center has become a part of the Newcastle traditions to showcase how rich Newcastle history is, and its authentic architecture is what makes the Civic Centre a memorable place to go.
