Kullu–Manali Airport- KUU airport
Kullu–Manali Airport-KUU Airport is a public airport owned by the government of India and operated by the Airports Authority of India. KUU airport is responsible or caters to the city of Kullu, Manali. It is located in the Bhuntar in Himachal Pradesh. It is only 11 kilometers away from the city center of Kullu and near Model Town, Vashist and Jagatsukh. Currently, KUU airport only has one operating airline to Chandigarh and Delhi.

Further, KUU airport is expected to have more upgrades in its systems in order to better the connection to the local network. There is also a plan to extend the airport for sixty meters. The location of the airport is considered challenging because of the topographic location which is in the deep valley, so as its single runways is positioned on it, added with its high peaks. The basic runway in KUU airport spans for 1,125 meters with asphalt surface. There is also a plan to add to the airport runway the by 500 meters.

The city location of the airport is less metropolitan but there are several hotels and accommodations ready in it. There is a simple Hotel Flight View a few meters away from the airport. This hotel is also the bus point near the airport. Another is the OYO 26599 Hotel Balaji Inn, which is located within the local community only less than one kilometer away from the airport; it is the best place to stay for sightseeing.
