Ipota Airport – IPA

Ipota Airport is an airfield that serves Erromango, Tafea in Vanuatu. It is located on the island of Erromango, near Ipota the village that the airport takes its name from. It is one of two airports on the island; the other one is Dillion’s Bay Airport on the western side of the island near Dillon’s Bay. The airport goes operates under the IATA code IPA and under the ICOA code NVVI. It sits at an elevation of 7 meters above sea level. Its coordinates are 18°51′23″S 169°17′00″E. There is one runway that is 930 meters long. The majority of air traffic that arrives in Ipota Airport is via Air Vanuatu. It also handles the chartered flights to and from other places in Vanuatu.
