Samedan Airport – SMV St. Moritz
Serving the high Alpine resort town of St. Moritz, Samedan Airport or Engadin Airport as what others call it, is a public and military airport that is situated in the valley of Engadin of Switzerland. The airport is considered as the highest airliner airport in Europe and also the most challenging airports in the world. Its tough topography and winds, and because the air in its altitude is thin, pilots must be skilled enough to land safely on the runway. Five airlines are operating in the airport as of today.

Samedan Airport is only comprised of a single asphalt runway and one main passenger terminal building.
