The SEC Centre in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom is the biggest exhibit center in the country. The main building was completed and inaugurated in 1985. Then, a second building, SEC Armadillo, was completed in 1997. It is one of the 3 main event spaces within the Scottish Event Campus. 

A variety of fun things to do in the area include visiting McLellan Galleries. Established in the mid-19th century, it is currently protected as a category B listed building. It was named after its founder, Archibald McLellan. Tourists should also visit Pollok House. Established in 1752, it is the Stirling Maxwell family’s ancestral home. Today, it is open to the public, showcasing an enormous private collection of Spanish paintings. Items include antique furniture, glass, porcelain, silverware, and many more. It also has a collection of more than 1,000 rhododendron species in its extensive garden. Another interesting site to visit in the area is Dawsholm Park. It is mostly composed of woodland, with some grass and wildflower meadows. Established in 1922, it officially became a Local Nature Reserve in 2007. There are a lot of nice hotels around the SEC Centre, such as the Crowne Plaza Hotel Glasgow, which is only 0.18 miles away. The 4-star hotel offers an extensive choice of spa services, steam rooms, a restaurant, an indoor and outdoor pools, as well as ATM on site. Another renowned hotel nearby is the Lorne Glasgow. Located 0.3 miles away, the hotel has its own bar/lounge, cafe and restaurant.
