Brighton Palace Pier or Brighton Pier or Palace Pier in Brighton, England, United Kingdom is a Grade II listed pleasure pier designed and built by R. St. George Moore. Inaugurated in 1899, it is the third pier established in the city. Today, it is the only one in operation. It has become an amusement park, featuring a number of fairground rides and roller coasters. 

Fun things to do in the area include visiting Chattri Memorial. It is a war memorial erected on the site where Indian soldiers who fought and died for the British Empire during World War I (WWI) were cremated. It was proclaimed a Fields in Trust Centenary Field in 2017 because of its historical significance. Introduced in 1921, it has been a Grade II listed structure since 1971. Another interesting site to visit in the area is Withdean Sports Complex. Inaugurated in 1936, it has a seating capacity of 8,850. Tourists should also visit the Booth Museum of Natural History. It focuses on Victorian taxidermy, particularly of British birds and insects, and bones, fossils, and skeletons. Inaugurated in 1874, it has one of the biggest collections of taxidermy birds in the country. Make sure you visit the nearby Pyecombe. The Royal Albion Hotel is one of the nearest hotel you can find.
