Buriram Airport – BFV
Buriram Airport, also known as Buri Ram Airport, is a public airport that is located in Buriram, Thailand. It serves the city of Buriram as well as Buriram Province. It is owned by the local government and is operated by Thailand’s Department of Airports. Working under the IATA code BFV and the ICAO code VTUO, it sits at an elevation of 590 feet above mean sea level. Its coordinates are 15°13′46″N 103°15′04″E. There is one runway, which measures 6,890 feet and has an asphalt surface. In 2018, the airport managed a total of 220,856 passengers.

In 2019, Thailand’s Department of Airports announced the addition of second passenger terminal to the Buriram Airport. This addition will increase the airport’s capacity to 1.7 passengers a year. Airlines that serve the airport include Nok-Air and Thai AirAsia. The main destination for these airlines is the Bangkog-Don Mueang. Cities, towns, villages, and suburbs found near the airport include Chaniang, Nai Muang, Salak Dai, and Nok Mueang. In addition to being an important commercial airport for the area, the airport also handles chartered and private flights.
