Anshan Air Base – AOG Anshan
An airport which serves Anshan City of Northeast China, Anshan Teng'ao Airport , also known as Anshan Air Base is located around 11.8 kilometers southwestern part of the city center. In Liaoning Province, it is also used by the People’s Liberation Army Air Force as an airbase which is an added installation on People’s Liberation Army‘s Shenyang Military Region. Anshan Airbase or AOG, its airport code, serves as a headquarters for the first fighter division that is operating Chengdu J-7, Shenyang J-11 and Shenyang J-8 fighters.

The AOG airport began its operation in the year 1987 which was stopped in the year 2002 and began conducting flights again in 2011 during the month of April, having a single route to Beijing, China. In February 2014, it began to expand its route to Shanghai as well with daily flights going to and from there. The airlines conducting flights in this airport are as follows: Juneyao Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Sichuan Airlines. It has one runway measuring 2,600 feet, which will let the tourists get to nearby city attractions in Beichangshougangzi, Banjiawozi and Sunjiawopeng.
